Eclipse Computing (Australia) Pty Ltd, leading supplier of intelligent business solutions, today announced it has won a large scale Pivotal 6 implementation for the newly formed Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
The preferred solution after an extensive public tender process, Pivotal 6 will provide AHPRA with the first single national registration and complaint management system for ten health professions representing 500,000 health practitioners.
Del Stitz, Director Implementation, NRAIP, said, “Currently, the ten health professions in scope are supported by more than 80 boards across Australia. As some States and Territories have one organisation supporting multiple boards, there are 37 organisations supporting these boards that employ about 600 staff. With Pivotal 6, Eclipse can provide a single source of truth for registration and case management of health professionals in Australia.”
“Pivotal 6 delivers a good fit to AHPRA’s requirements, easy customisation, a smart client user interface, high user adoption and satisfaction at other organisations and integration with external systems as well as with Microsoft Outlook and other internal applications.”
Martin Wildsmith, director business solutions, Eclipse, said, “This is a very strategic win for Eclipse. This is the first Pivotal 6 sale in Australia, winning out over a highly competitive bidding process.
“Pivotal has always delivered the strongest workflow and process-based customer relationship management (CRM) in the market. However, Pivotal 6.0 is even more extensible and adaptable without many of the accustomed CRM system limitations.”
AHPRA’s selection of Pivotal 6.0 is a further endorsement of both the solution and CDC Software, recently honoured as 2009 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference Awards Winner in Information Worker Solutions, Office Solutions Development. CDC Software was chosen from an international field of top Microsoft partners for delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology.
